Ellen Barrosse
Ellen Barrosse is the president and founder of A Rose and a
Prayer. She is credited with leading historic efforts that
stopped Delaware bills that would have legalized embryonic
stem cell research and human cloning. She is a successful
CEO in Wilmington and has been involved in numerous
charitable efforts.
Mary McCrossan, MD
Dr. McCrossan is a family physician and certified bio-ethicist.
She is gifted in clearly explaining the biology of early human
development.
Kathy Barr
Kathy Barr is a wife, at-home mom to
five children ages 11 to
22, and a freelance writer. She and her family live in Newark,
Delaware. She has volunteered at Holy Family Church, Mount
Aviat Academy, Salesianum School, Archmere Academy,
Delaware Right to Life, the Cecil County Pregnancy Center, and
the MS Society of Delaware over the last 20 years.
Stephen E. Jenkins, Esq.
Steve Jenkins is a Wilmington attorney
who specializes in
corporate litigation and has represented the Catholic Diocese
of Wilmington on religious freedom matters. Mr. Jenkins
participated in the fight to stop stem cell research and cloning
in Delaware, is a member of the Catholic Diocese's end-of-life
task force, helped draft both Catholic and general Christian
advance directives, and attended the certification program of
the National Catholic Bioethics Center. Mr. Jenkins also was
a member of the Diocese's Da Vinci Code task force and gave
talks throughout the Delmarva peninsula about the many historical
errors in that book. He has also given talks about various
stem-cell and end-of-life matters.
Fr. Leonard R. Klein
Fr. Leonard R. Klein graduated from
Yale College in 1967
and Yale Divinity School in 1970. He completed preparation
for the Lutheran ministry at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis,
and served as a Lutheran pastor from 1972 until entering the
Catholic Church with his wife and two of their three children
in 2003. He currently serves as Associate Director of the Family
Life Bureau of Catholic Charities of Wilmington and Associate
Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Brandywine
Hundred.
